International Student Orientation

Due to Whitman College moving to primarily remote teaching for Fall 2020, the majority of orientation programming for new international students will be delivered remotely. Remote orientation for intentional students will be held Aug. 17-19, 2020. A schedule will be posted in early August.

International students and their families can also access the virtual orientation programming, which will be live the first week of August. Watch your Whitman email for more information. Additional virtual opening week activities will be held at multiple times and dates beginning Aug. 20, 2020.

International Student Orientation provides new F-1 and J-1 students an opportunity to learn more about Whitman, Walla Walla and the United States, and focuses on topics that are relevant to international students. Participation in International Student Orientation is required for all F-1 and J-1 visa students.
