• Wednesday, Aug. 20: Whitman-owned off-campus rentals open at 9am for returning students.*
• Wednesday, Aug. 27: Residence halls open for New Student Move-In Day!

• Friday, Aug. 29–Saturday, Aug. 30: Residence halls and interest houses open at 9am for returning students.

  • Storage Access on Friday, Aug. 29: 9AM–10AM, 1PM-2:30PM

• Saturday, Aug. 30: The Junior-Senior Village opens at 9am for returning students.*
• Thursday–Friday, Oct. 9-10: Fall break, no classes. Residence halls and interest houses are open.
• Friday–Sunday, Oct. 24-26: Family Weekend
• Nov. 22–30: Thanksgiving Break. Residence halls and interest houses are open.
• Friday, Dec. 19: Last day of finals, end of the semester.
• Saturday, Dec. 20: Residence halls and interest houses close at noon.
• Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026: Residence halls and interest houses reopen.

Spring 2026

• Sunday, January 18: Residence halls and interest houses reopen at 9AM.
• March 14-29: Spring Break
• Saturday, March 14: Residence halls and interest houses close at noon.
• Sunday, March 29: Residence halls and interest houses reopen at 9AM.
• Thursday, May 21: Residence halls and interest house close at noon for students not approved to stay through commencement.
• Sunday, May 24: Residence halls and interest houses close at 5PM for students approved to stay through commencement.
