At Whitman College, we’re committed to making the financial aid process easier and less confusing. That’s why we offer the Early Financial Aid Guarantee—so you don’t have to wait until you are admitted to start thinking about the cost. In fact, you can find out before you even apply!

With this early guarantee, you can see how much money in scholarships and financial aid you’ll be awarded from Whitman if you are admitted. 

Whitman’s Early Financial Aid Guarantee is available for high school seniors from June 30 through Dec. 15. Results are generally available within a couple of weeks.

What You’ll Need to Provide

Merit-Based Aid

To find out what you could receive in merit or achievement scholarships, please provide:

  • An unofficial copy of your high school transcript
  • Your senior year academic schedule
  • SAT/ACT scores (optional)

If you are an international student looking for merit aid only, please email your most up to date transcript to international@whitman.edu with the subject line of Early Financial Aid Guarantee.”

Need-Based Aid

If you are a U.S. citizen and wish to be considered for need-based aid, you must complete the FAFSA and the CSS Profile, which go live October 1.

If you are an international student and wish to be considered for need-based aid, you fill out our International Early Financial Aid Guarantee form. 

Please note: Need-based aid is based on the information you provide in your Early Financial Aid Guarantee request. If there are major changes in your finances after the initial request, we may need to make adjustments.
