Forms to Complete Your Financial Aid Application

In some cases, we need additional documents to complete your financial aid application and provide a full and accurate financial aid package. We’ll let you know when that happens and can answer any questions you may have.

You can upload requested documents to the College Board's IDOC portal or through Whitman’s secure ShareFile link.

FAFSA Verification Forms

When you submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Department of Education may randomly select your application for a process called verification. This will be noted in your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). If you’re selected, Whitman College is required to collect additional documents from you and your family to confirm the accuracy of the information on your FAFSA. Required documents may include:

Whitman-Specific Forms

  • CSS Profile Waiver Request for the Noncustodial Parent: Allows a student to request that the noncustodial parent’s financial information be excluded from financial aid consideration due to special circumstances.
  • Household Verification Worksheet: Confirms the number of people in your household and their relationship to you for financial aid purposes in cases where there is a discrepancy between the information provided on the FAFSA and CSS Profile.
  • Asset Verification Worksheet: Confirms the value of assets in cases where there is a discrepancy between the information reported on the FAFSA and CSS Profile.
