IES: Amsterdam Conservatorium van Amsterdam
Through IES, qualified students may enroll directly at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, the largest and most diverse conservatory in the Netherlands. The Conservatorium offers high-caliber instruction in jazz and classical music in state-of-the-art music facilities in the heart of one of Europe’s most vibrant music centers. At the Conservatorium, students undertake an individualized course of study. This direct enrollment opportunity is geared toward highly-motivated music majors aspiring to become professional musicians, music scholars or composers.

Music performance (classical and jazz), music theory, composition, music history, conducting, improvisation, analysis, harmony, and counterpoint. |
Eligibility: |
Successful applicants should be strong and highly-motivated music majors concentrating in performance, composition or theory. Audition CD is required. Minimum cumulative gpa of 3.0. |

Housing: |
: Students will share a double occupancy studio apartment with kitchenette with another IES student or an international student. An alternate option is a single room with shared kitchen on each floor in a student apartment block (additional fee required). |

Students will prepare their own meals in their apartments or take their meals at a student cafeteria (Mensa) or local restaurants in Amsterdam. |
