Passports

More information regarding Passports & Visas.

Passports for Study Abroad

Study abroad students must have a passport valid for at least six months beyond the end date of their program. U.S. passports issued before age 16 are only valid for five years.

How To Obtain or Renew a US Passport

For U.S. passport applications, follow the U.S. Department of State’s instructions. Any U.S. citizen can apply for their passport at the Walla Walla County Clerk’s Office regardless of their state of residence.

Visas

Depending on your citizenship and destination, you may need a visa, which grants permission to enter and study in a foreign country. While students are responsible for obtaining their visas, the OCS office provides guidance and support throughout the process.
