Business Office Holds

Uh oh!

Looks like we're missing something to complete your financial arrangements for the upcoming semester.

Have you accepted your Financial Aid package (ie. loans)?

To accept your loans:

  1. Log into myWhitman and make sure you're on the 'Students' tab in the blue menu bar.
  2. In the Financial Aid section of the left hand menu, click on "Financial Aid by Year" and select the appropriate school year (i.e. 2014-2015)
  3. Click on the "Accept or Reject" link found at the top of the page.
  4. Choose the year again, and click 'Accept'.

If you still need help with anything related to loans or scholarships, please call Financial Aid Office at 509-527-5178 or send them an email. Accepting your Fin Aid online doesn't automatically clear your hold, so call the Business Office to check if this is what we were missing.

Is the check in the mail?

We might not have received your payment yet. Check your Student Account balance on myWhitman. This site is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Log in, click on the "Students" tab in the top menu bar, then "AR Statement" on the left. Enter a start date and select "Main Student Account" (one of three types). Then click 'View Statement'. To forward a copy of your online statement to your family, use the "Print" icon at the top of the page (not the browser's print function) to create a PDF file that you can print or email as an attachment.

If you have any billing questions, or would like help determining your expected costs for the coming school year, please call the Business Office at 509-527-5143. Please have your most recent invoice or statement in hand when you call. You are also welcome to come by our office in the "clock tower" building when you arrive on campus; we are in Memorial 233 and are open weekdays from 9 am to 4:30 pm.

Did you ask for a Deferred Payment Plan?

If you've requested a payment plan, please sign and return the contract(s) that were sent to you, along with the first of the four payments. This contract is not complete until signed by both you and a parent, as well as providing the parent Social Security number.
