Performance Management Process

The performance management process includes a self-assessment, a supervisor assessment, and feedback from others.

  1. All staff employees should complete a self-assessment in BambooHR. Please refer to Instructions for Completing the Self Assessment. Staff employees will not be able to view their supervisor's assessment of them until after they complete their self-assessment.  For additional information, view the slides for the performance management training offered by Human Resources.
  2. Supervisors should complete the manager assessment for all staff employees who they supervise in BambooHR. Please refer to Instructions for Completing the Manager Assessment. Supervisors will not be able to view a direct report's self-assessment until they complete their manager assessment for that particular direct report.  For additional information, view the slides for the performance management training offered by Human Resources.
  3. Supervisors can identify 1-10 employees for whom they want to receive feedback about a particular direct report. Please refer to the last page of Instructions for Completing the Manager Assessment for directions on how to invite feedback from others.
