Mental health resources for you and your dependents

Whitman employees and your dependents have two great options for seeking mental health resources, both virtually and in person.
1. Canopy, Whitman's Employee Assistance Program

Even if you do not participate in Premera health insurance, you and your dependents have access to Canopy, Whitman's Employee Assistance Program. They offer support 24/7/365, and they are easy to reach, it's free, and it's confidential.
You can access emergency mental health care and counseling by visiting the Canopy website at canopywell.com, by calling 1-800-433-2320, or by e-mailing info@canopywell.com.  Check out Canopy's WholeLife Directions mobile app to get a complete mental health screening and instant connection to personalized treatment.

2. Premera
Premera health insurance plan members can also access emergency virtual mental health care and counseling by either choosing Doctor on Demand or Talkspace.  Doctor on Demand offers text and video-based care with video talk therapy and medication management. Talkspace offers message and video-based care with video sessions with a therapist and text messaging with a dedicated therapist.
You can also find a therapist for in person counseling through the Premera website by going to "Explore Resources" then selecting "Mental Health Resources."
To access these services on your Android or iOS device, download the Premera app, create an account, then click on "Find Care" to get started.
