2023 Reunion Weekend
Whitman College’s Alumni Reunion is a yearly gathering for alumni, current students, faculty and staff to reconnect, celebrate and learn about the college. Attendees can participate in special events and activities, class reunions and hear updates from college leaders.

Registration
Reunion check-in takes place in the foyer of the Reid Campus Center, 280 Boyer Ave., stop by to pick up your reunion registration packet:
- Thursday, Noon–5 p.m.
- Friday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m.
- Saturday, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The Admission Office is open for visitors. If you brought a prospective student with you, register online at www.whitman.edu/admission-and-aid/visit-whitman. Campus tours are scheduled to depart from Penrose House, 515 Boyer Ave., at 9 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.; an information session is a part of the campus tour.
9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Whitman College Bookstore, located on the ground level of the Reid Campus Center, 280 Boyer Ave., is open. Buy your Whitman gear to wear at the alumni parade on Saturday!
5-6:30 p.m.
40th Reunion Reception for the Class of 1983 hosted by President Sarah Bolton at Sherwood House, 1107 Alvarado Terrace. Hearty hors d'oeuvres and beverages provided.
8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

3:30–5 p.m.
Kick off your reunion weekend with Whitties Helping Whitties - an excellent opportunity to meet other alumni working in your professional field. WHW events are also a wonderful way to share your experience and career trajectory with interested students. Join the conversation! Reid Campus Center side lawn. Inclement weather will move this event indoors.
6-7:30 p.m.
Fifty-Plus Reception for the Classes of 1958, 1963 and 1968 as well as any alumni from the classes of 1972 and earlier hosted by President Sarah Bolton at Sherwood House, 1107 Alvarado Terrace. Hearty hors d'oeuvres and beverages provided.
7-midnight
Whittie Kids. Childcare for ages 7-14 will be active and education focused including games, crafts, and a movie. Snack provided. No walk-ins accepted.
7-11 p.m.
All-Class Party. Join your friends and classmates as alumni take over the Reid Campus Center! Enjoy music from all the reunion classes, get your picture with friends in the photo booth or head downstairs to the Coffeehouse for quiet(er) conversation--this will be the one place you’ll be sure to meet up with your classmates. Cash bar (beer, wine and mixed drinks) and light refreshments provided. Adults only. Photo ID required. Reid Campus Center, 280 Boyer Ave.

10-10:50 a.m.
Reunion Class Photographs on the steps of Memorial Building (front and back) as well as the front steps of Baker Center, 364 Boyer Avenue. Due to the large number of alumni and their families who are attending reunions, we ask that only class members participate in the photos (except for the 55th, 60th and 65th), thank you! Please note: Photos are being taken in three locations. Be sure you find the right location for your class! When you arrive for your photo, please gather in the area designated for your class. Photos will be available for free download after the reunion.

All classes line up for Parade of Classes. Alumni in the Classes of 1972 and earlier meet in the driveway of Baker Center, 364 Boyer Ave. All other reunion classes will be led to their respective staging areas from Memorial Building. Follow your class banner! In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be canceled.
11-11:15 a.m.
Parade of Classes: Led by a community band, join your classmates as we celebrate five generations of Whitman Alumni on campus at the same time! Family and friends are invited to cheer the classes as they make their way across campus. Signage and students will help you find your place. Cheer on those in the classes before you as they march by. A map and instructions will be available at registration. Wear your blue and yellow proudly - or visit the bookstore for some new Whitman gear!
11:15 a.m.-12 p.m.
Reunion Convocation: A Celebration of Classes. The program will include the recognition of classes and reunion co-chairs, recognition of Alumni Award recipients, the presentation of reunion fund class gifts and remarks by Whitman's 15th President Sarah Bolton. Location to be determined.
12-1:30 p.m.
All Class Picnic on the green space between Stanton Hall and Cleveland Commons, weather permitting. Rain venue to be determined.
6 p.m.-12 midnight
Whittie Kids. Childcare for ages 7-14 will be active and education focused including games, crafts, and a movie. Dinner provided. No walk-ins accepted. NOTE: The evening event for the 10th reunion will be family-friendly.
