Procedures

The Security Office has some standard policies which must be maintained for the protection of the community. For more information on these policies, please refer to the Whitman College Student Handbook, or contact the Department of Security.

Information Control

All information that passes through the Security Office is considered confidential and is not passed on to uninvolved parties.

Identification

Access to and use of buildings late at night require proper identification and written authorization. Buildings are routinely checked by Security and everyone is expected to comply with the Security Office's request for identification.

Entrance into Student Residences

No person will be admitted into any residential facility without proper Whitman ID or a room key.
