Get on Social Media
The Office of Communications enjoys staying in touch with its Whitman College social media followers on many diverse platforms. Our social media channels help prospective students learn about what life is like at Whitman as well as keeping everyone up-to-date about what is happening on campus.
If you would like to create your own Whitman-affiliated social media channel, please refer to the Social Media User's Guide, which gives guidance for effective use of social media.
Our guide outlines social media best practices, including consistent, timely, and engaging postings and personal interactions, and responsive, thoughtful replies.
An "official" Whitman College social media account includes any account, site, page or group on any social media platform that is created by a Whitman employee or one of its agents to represent Whitman College or one of its departments or programs in an official capacity.
Be sure to inform us if you create an account so we can list it for others to find and follow.
