Whitman College offers interviews as an optional way for you to meet one-on-one with a member of the Whitman community, discuss your academic and extra curricular interests, and ask questions to help you learn more about Whitman. Please keep in mind that interviews are not required for admission. Interviews are available to high school seniors and transfer students either on campus, off campus, or through alumni interviewers, based on availability. Applicants may interview only once.
If you're planning a visit to campus you can request an interview with one of our senior admission interns or admission officers when you fill out the visit request form. Please keep in mind that interviews are not required for admission.
To find an interview in your area, look for a red marker near you. Click the marker to see all available times, as well as the name of the Admission Officer conducting the interview. You can also search by US zip code and radius. Most regional interviews are offered in the fall season.
Interviews by an Alumnus
At this time alumni interviews for freshman applicants are no longer available. Interviews will be made available next Fall 2018.
International Student Interviews
Whitman Admission Officers attend college fairs, visit high schools, and offer interviews in several countries each fall. Interview opportunities are limited and tend to fill quickly. If you would like to be notified of when interviews or other events are added to the schedule, join our mailing list.
International applicants may also interview by appointment via Skype; however, availability is limited. For more information, please contact the international admission coordinator, Jee Won Lee.
