What is the schedule for the day?
You’ll arrive between 8–8:30 a.m. to check in for the day and grab a light breakfast. After an opening welcome session, you can choose your own adventure for the day. Options include:
- A campus tour with a current student
- Class with a Whitman professor
- Brunch at Cleveland Commons—our treat!
- Student club and organization tables
- Academic resources and career counseling sessions
- Speciality building tours throughout the day
- Chat with a financial aid advisor
Festivities will conclude at approximately 3 p.m. that day.
How do I register for a Spring Into Whitman Day?
We are offering two Spring Into Whitman Days on Saturdays in April 2023: April 1 and April 15. Use our registration form to sign up. On the calendar form, select a green square for the day you want to register. When you select the square a “Spring Into Whitman Day” link will appear below the calendar. Follow that link and the instructions to register.
How do I know what activities are available on a specific day?
Each Spring Into Whitman Day offers a different range of activities. To see which specific options are available on a particular day, you’ll need to enter that day’s registration page. You can always go back to check out the options on another day.
Will my guests be able to attend the same activities as I do?
Yes, for the most part. However, some faculty-led classes may be limited due to space. Schedules will be provided at check-in for the Spring Into Whitman Day.
What kinds of activities are available in the afternoon?
We have some pretty great options lined up. For instance, you might choose from:
- A session with our Dean’s office, discussing campus life as a ‘Whittie’
- Meet and Greet with Alumni
- A chance to check out the Outdoor Programs
- Meet with admission or financial aid staff
- Attend a session all about Whitman’s special student resources
- See a Women’s Tennis game or a double-header Baseball Game
How do I travel to Walla Walla? Where should I stay?
Walla Walla has an airport with a flight to and from Seattle daily, and nearby Pasco has additional flight options. We are also fortunate to have multiple hotels, motels, vacation rentals, and bed and breakfasts within walking distance of Whitman’s campus. Find more resources to help you plan your trip .

What if I can’t visit on a Spring Into Whitman Day?
Whitman offers individual campus visits Monday–Saturday. For those visits, options include a campus tour, an information session with an Admission Officer, a class visit and a meal with one of our current students. Class visits aren’t available on Saturday. See other options for visiting Whitman .
