Neal Christopherson

Neal Christopherson is Whitman's Director of Institutional Research, and has occasionally taught in the Sociology Department. He graduated from Wheaton College, Illinois, in 1995 and received his doctorate from the University of Notre Dame in August 2000. Christopherson is interested in the sociology of religion, culture studies, sociology of sports, research methods and statistics. Outside of academics, Christopherson enjoys running, cycling, soccer, music, reading and movies, among other things. He also serves as assistant coach to the Whitman cross country team.
