Campaign Goals
Since the campaign was launched publicly on Nov. 18, 2011, more than $11 million in gifts and commitments have propelled its three priorities forward. The vision for Whitman’s future includes ambitious initiatives to add professorships like the William O. Douglas Chair profiled here, to grow our comprehensive Global Studies program, to enhance the student experience with opportunities for student/faculty research, field experience and internships, and to endow financial aid for students. Success for the campaign and each of its goals produces a brighter future for Whitman students. Your partnership is appreciated!

These funds will endow need-based scholarships and bolster merit and talent awards, making a Whitman education more accessible for current and future students.
