Leigh Ann Lucero ’91

Leigh Ann Lucero ’91 is a member of Whitman’s Board of Trustees and Associate General Counsel for Microsoft. Lucero and her husband, Jim Malzewski, are also parents of two Whitman students, Abby ’23 and Luke ’27. Lucero and Malzewski created the Lucero-Malzewski Family Scholarship Endowment to help make a Whitman education accessible for talented students of all walks of life. “Jim and I are delighted to join other alumni, parents and friends with an investment in the Upward Together campaign,” Lucero says. “We believe it’s so important to provide future generations of students with access to a Whitman education so that they can gain the preparation to become the leaders and thinkers our communities and the world need.”
