Video: A Sweet Journey

Each summer, the incoming class of Whitman College students gets a very special package in the mail: A box of heirloom Walla Walla sweet onions, handpicked and supplied by Michael Locati of Locati Farms. “It's kind of a welcoming gift from Walla Walla community to them and hope that they have a good time while they're here. A sweet time while they're here,” Locati said. Watch the video below for more about the onion’s journey from field to front door.
