Auditioning for Jazz Band

All instruments on all levels are welcome to audition. Auditions take place in Doug Scarborough's office (Hall of Music, 118).  Sign up for a time slot on his office door. Your audition will cover the following:

1. Be prepared to play a jazz standard or something that you feel best showcases your ability, preferably in the jazz idiom.
2. Sight-reading.
3. You are encouraged -but not required- to improvise over a play-along backing track.
