Chris Bromley ’97
Chris Bromley ’97 is a founding member of McHugh Bromley, PLLC, a boutique Idaho water law firm. After graduating from high school in Carbondale, Colorado, Chris enrolled at Whitman where he was a Politics major and competed on both the varsity soccer team and alpine ski team. While at Whitman, Chris met the love of his life and wife, Heidi Brown ’98, who was a History major and president of Kappa Kappa Gamma. After graduation, Chris served as an associate class representative for a number of years, was employed by Whitman for one season as an assistant coach for the soccer and alpine ski teams, and co-chaired his 20th and 25th reunions. Chris attended Gonzaga University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Gonzaga Law Review, graduating magna cum laude in 2001 with an emphasis in environmental law. After law school, Chris moved to Idaho where he was employed as a law clerk for the Idaho Court of Appeals for one-year, then as a Deputy Attorney General for ten years, assigned to the Idaho Department of Water Resources. Since 2013, Chris has operated McHugh Bromley, PLLC. Chris is the proud parent of a daughter who is enrolling at Whitman as a member of the class of 2028 and will compete on the women’s soccer team.
