Jenna Terry joined the Whitman College Faculty in 2005. She has published in a variety of genres, writing fiction, essays, features, and scholarship for Green Mountains Review, Inprint, the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, ASEE, and other venues. A former book editor for Houghton Mifflin / Mariner Books, Terry has also taught academic, creative, business, and technical writing at the University of Houston and Walla Walla Community College, and worked as a freelance writer and editor. Terry has launched and overseen multiple academic writing programs in her career, dating back to her own undergraduate work at Wesleyan University, where she helped to develop and served as teaching assistant for courses in school’s NECUSE-funded Science Writing Program and the Wesleyan Writing Program. Awards for her writing and editing include a Houghton Mifflin STAR award and Emerging Artists's Fellowship from the Cultural Arts Council of Houston and Harris County.
