Brit Moss (she/her) teaches courses ranging from introductory biology to biochemistry to synthetic biology, and maintains a plant synthetic biology research lab with 2-3 undergraduates. She was a first-generation college student for whom an undergraduate research experience was life-changing ~ and she feels privileged to now provide those same experiences for a new generation of young scientists at Whitman! She also loves to travel with her wife, see live theater, eat good food, swim, and solve puzzles (jigsaw, crossword, etc).
