John Lee '16 founded Loopie Laundry to turn household chores into revenue streams. The film and media studies major hopes to bring modern mobile solutions to one of humanity's most enduring hassles-dirty laundry. And he's using his creative problem solving ability to do it. The nascent company's business model entails connecting busy apartment-dwellers in the city with partnering laundromats or individuals with in-unit washers and dryers who are looking to earn a passive income from home: in other words, a peer-to-peer laundry delivery service. "I saw a problem that was sort of neglected," he said. "If you live in the greater Seattle area and you would rather not spend two or three hours doing your laundry" then Loopie Laundry is ready to help.
