Whitman Express Buses

2024-2025 Shuttle Service

Whitman will provide shuttle service during the 2024-2025 academic year to Seattle, Portland and Pasco Tri-Cities airport. Shuttle will be offered for the following breaks:

Thanksgiving Break

Departing Nov. 22, 2024
Returning Dec. 1, 2024

Winter Break

Departing Dec. 20, 2024
Returning Jan. 19, 2025

Spring Break

Departing March 14, 2025
Returning March 30, 2025

Tickets for the Winter Break Shuttle are available starting on December 2, 2024 and can be purchased in Reid 202.

Seattle (56 seats) 3 p.m.
- Departs from Sea/Tac Airport Light Rail Station (2918 S 176th St, SeaTac, WA)
Portland (20 seats) 3 p.m.
- Departs from Cascade Station (9721 NE Cascade Parkway, Portland, OR)
Pasco (12 seats) 1 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.
- Departs from Tri-Cities Pasco Airport from Baggage Claim Door

Drop off/Pick up Locations

Whitman: Beside the Reid Campus Center along Park Street
SeaTac: Sea/Tac Airport Light Rail Station (2918 S 176th St, SeaTac, WA)
Portland: Cascade Station (9721 NE Cascade Parkway, Portland, OR) - Get on I-84 E/US-30 and continue to NE Airport Way. Take exit 24A from I-205 N. Take NE Mt Hood Ave to NE Cascades Pkwy.
Tri-Cities Pasco Airport: Drop off and pick up at Terminal
Pick up locations for the return trips to Whitman will be the Sea/Tac Airport Light Rail Station Parking lot for Seattle passengers and the Cascade Station location for Portland passengers.

Bus reservations and Payments

Reservations for the Winter Break shuttle can be made starting December 2, 2024.
Bus reservations can only be made in person in the Reid Campus Center Office (Room 202).
The cost for the Seattle and Portland shuttles is $140 roundtrip. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable.
The cost for Pasco shuttles are $25 one-way.
All fare payments must be charged to your Whitman Student Account. No cash or card accepted.
No tickets are issued - receipt of payment will put the student's name on a list that the bus driver will use for boarding.
Be sure to notify those meeting you as to WHEN and WHERE to meet you.
Reservations will not be guaranteed until payments are received. Payments will be accepted until all seats are sold. Seats may sell out so early purchase is recommended.
