- Whitman Connect is a virtual platform where you can network with fellow Whitties, share the value of your experience and help others just starting their professional careers..
- Register to be a mentor! Through the Career Mentoring Program, you can support professional growth for students and ensure a successful transition into post-graduate life. A time commitment of four, one-hour sessions, scheduled bi-weekly over a period of two months in addition to an orientation session. More information.
- Attend a Whitties Helping Whitties networking event near you! Make in-person connections with Whitties in your industry or an industry that interests you. Check our event page to see if there are any coming to your city!
- Looking for someone to help you out with a single project or task? Head to Parker Dewey to hire Whitties for short-term, project-based, paid micro-internships.
- Post regular semester or year long internships on Handshake to hire for paid or unpaid internship opportunities. This is where Whitties can use the Whitman Internship Grant (WIG)* to fund their time in unpaid internships!
- Recruit at Whitman by emailing stecklen@whitman.edu or doing the following:
- Attend the Job and Internship Fair on campus—occurs twice a year, with a focus on summer opportunities in the spring semester.
- Host a virtual recruitment session. Post any positions on Handshake then create an event for your virtual session, webinar or conference. Email your event to ccec_info@whitman.edu to be shared with the student body!
- Come to campus to table for your organization or company. Post your open positions on Handshake and email recruit@whitman.edu to coordinate your info-session.

- Get advice on pursuing a graduate program. Resources on beginning your search, application items and navigating acceptance offers are provided through the CCEC. Information for undocumented, DACA and international students included as well.
Support the Whitman Internship Grant!
The WIG funds students to take on opportunities that align with their interests, no matter the pay. For each WIG earned, a student can receive up to $4,000 for a summer internship ($5,500 internationally) and $1,300 for a spring or fall internship.
