Theatre experience

Elizabeth Hambleton ’13 has already played several roles at HJT, including props designer and sound board operator.

Where I learn best is in Harper Joy Theatre. The theatre is an inspirational place; it can be quiet in the lobby or hectic in the shop. Sometimes I go there to find peace of mind; other times I find I can’t escape: I’m working on a project for weeks and practically live there. I’ve learned everything there, from cooperation and relaxation to efficiency and how to keep my head above water when I feel like I’m drowning. All the world’s a stage, and it all happens in HJT.
