Go for the GOLD Toolkit

Thank you for helping us spread the word about Go for the GOLD on June 22 and 23!

We have exciting challenges and matches throughout the two days. When your class reaches 25 additional donors, you will unlock a $5,000 bonus gift and every Fiscal Year Donor will receive a customized class stadium cup. Let's toast to making a difference!

While the official Go for the GOLD launch is on Tuesday, June 22, don’t wait until then to make your gift. The campaign will be live starting on Monday for volunteers to get a head start.

3 things you can do on Monday, June 21:

1. Make your gift at  give.whitman.edu/gold.
   
   
2. Send us your photos.
   • Send us a photo in your Whitman gear with a short bio including your favorite thing about Whitman, and/or your greatest Whitman mentors
   • Post on your own or share with us a photo of yourself with your “I give because…” sign using the hashtags #WhittiesGive #WhitmanGOLD
     
     
3. Share with your classmates.
   Post on social media or reach out to friends by email and text. Here are some examples.

Share your #WhitmanGOLD story!

• Post a throwback photo. Post a picture of yourself during your Whitman days, or a photo of you, your pet, plant or kid in Whitman gear.
   
• Update your Facebook image. Show your support by adding our Go for the GOLD Facebook frame to your profile image. Option 1  |  Option 2
   
• Post a message. Print a sign and write an encouraging message to Whitties or share why you made a gift. Post the image to social media with #WhitmanGOLD. Download Message Sign
   
• Change your Zoom background. Download the official Zoom Go for the GOLD background for your virtual events.

Remember to use the hashtag #WhitmanGOLD with any video, photo or post you share on social media. If you don’t have access to social media, email annualgiving@whitman.edu with your video and/or photo and we’ll share it on the campaign page!
