Emergency Funds for Students
Whitman College offers a financial aid package—scholarships, grants, loans and work-study—based on your family’s demonstrated need. But we understand that financial situations change. If you have special circumstances arise during the year, the Financial Aid team will work with you to update your financial aid package as needed.
Students are required to take their loans first and also show they are willing to work before additional funds can be offered. Depending on the situation, the college can offer additional scholarship money to help students get through the year.
