Many Whitman websites use images, videos, documents or even code snippets. These items are called "Assets." Assets refer to files that can be added to a page, such as images, or documents available to download.
Ingeniux contains a server where all assets are stored. These assets can be used by the Whitman websites and the image links won't change.
Steps to add an asset to Ingeniux:
Click on the "Asset" button on the toolbar, which will take you to the Assets homepage.
Navigate to the folder which pertains to your site through the assets tree on the left-hand side, or through clicking on the folders on the right side.
Click "Create New Asset" icon to add a new asset.
Select the file(s) you wish to upload by using the file navigator of your computer or drag them to the upload area. Click "Upload."
Double-click the image to access more properties.
Mark the asset for publish. Un-published assets will not display on the Whitman website.
Never use spaces or special characters in filenames, as different web browsers and operating systems can interpret spaces differently which can lead to problems. Dashes (-) and underscores (_) are acceptable. This applies to any and all files uploaded to the assets manager.
