Parent and Family Gifts

Gifts to The Whitman Fund from parents and families help make possible the outstanding educational opportunities that are part of your student's Whitman experience. Along with alumni, parents and families are encouraged to support the five designations of The Whitman Fund:

Another opportunity for parents to support Whitman is by joining the Parents Leadership Committee (PLC). The PLC assists and advises the college in creating a strong giving program among families of Whitman students. Members of the PLC support The Whitman Fund with a gift of $5,000 or more annually. The committee meets twice a year, hears from the college's leadership team, and makes calls and/or writes personal notes and emails to ask and thank Whitman families for gifts.
