The last weekend of September showcased Walla Walla in all its fall glory: a perfect setting for Whitman College’s biggest reunion ever—with 777 alumni and their guests totaling over 1,000 people in town to celebrate their reunions, from the 10th to the 60th!
The Alumni Office and multiple campus partners hosted 46 events over the course of four days, including individual class parties, faculty and alumni lectures, an all-class takeover of Heritage Square Park downtown, and a Saturday night after-party with live music from Stereo Bird—a Walla Walla band featuring two members who were celebrating their own reunions, Ralph Eronemo ’89 and Ben VanDonge ’09.
“Thank you … for a wonderful Reunion Weekend. I had a wonderful time (re)connecting with classmates I knew and many whom I’d never really gotten to know. I returned home (at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday) with so many good memories.

Classes for the 10th, 25th, 40th and 50th reunions spent the year leading up to Reunion Weekend gathering donations for the college. The staggering grand total of $5,253,578 was announced at Reunion Convocation, where alumni heard from President Sarah Bolton and our 2025 Alumni Association Recognition Award winners were honored.
Thank you to all the amazing Whitties who joined us on campus in September—or with a gift from afar. Your continued support helps empower the next generation of Whitman students.
“That was like a time machine! A wonderful reunion weekend—it was magic.
