A Home for the Arts at Whitman

The Fouts Center for Visual Arts is more than an art building—it’s a creative home where students can flex their imaginations, get hands-on experience with a variety of media and learn from practicing artists. 

With dedicated spaces for painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, photography and more, as well as senior studios where Art majors can develop their senior thesis work, it’s a testament to Whitman’s belief that the visual arts are an essential part of a liberal arts education.
