Rachel Wyman, MS, LMHC, LCAT, R-DMT

Mental Health Counselor

I am a somatic psychotherapist and dance-based artist from Walla Walla. I’m licensed in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), in New York State as a Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT), and I am a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) with the American Dance Therapy Association. I received a master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute and a bachelor’s degree in Dance and Africana Studies from Oberlin College.

I support clients’ self-trust, self-understanding and growth by helping mend the divide between mind and body that many of us experience. I draw from a wide range of frameworks and practical resources, including traditional talk therapy (humanistic, Gestalt, IFS, ACT, CBT); somatic approaches (Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Experiencing, NARM); research from the fields of neuroscience, nutrition and physiology; movement/dance; and art.
