The mission of the Office of Information Technology is to Enhance the educational process and individual effectiveness, and facilitate College excellence through pervasive and cost-effective applications of information technology.
In fulfillment of this mission, WCTS offers a full complement of services and facilities. These include:

- management of campus computer labs
- maintenance and repair of college owned desktop computers
- user training and workshops
- development and support of administrative information systems
The Office of Information Technology is committed to managing limited resources, integrating current levels of technology and software, retaining knowledgeable support staff, and preserving the confidentiality, integrity and security of the information in our environment.
These are values that Technology Services collectively and individually strive toward in our interactions with the Whitman community. This is our internal contract with each other and with those we support.
Make it (even) better
Be open to change. Look for ways to get better, even if there is a risk of temporary inconvenience or failure.
Do the right thing
Do what we say we will do. It's about honesty. Integrity. Dependability. Especially when no one is looking, even if we think no one will ever check.
Tell me about it
Let people know what's going on, whether they ask or not. Listen respectfully. Own up to our mistakes. Seek understanding and input.
Be curious. Learn whenever we can, from whomever we can. Seek answers as much as we offer them. Find the root cause. Diagnose and fix core problems, not just the symptoms.
Laugh deeply. Enjoy the ride. We don't take ourselves too seriously.
