  • Aikido

    Aikido is a non-violent, non-competitive, defensive Japanese martial art used to defend oneself while also protecting an attacker from injury.

  • Anime Club

    The Whitman College Anime Club is a group of students who meet weekly to watch and discuss new and classic anime series.

  • Archery

    The Whitman College Archery Club to promotes interest in archery through the use of outings, safety demonstrations, and other events.

  • Backcountry Ski & Snowboard Club

    The Backcountry Ski & Snowboard Club strives to provide resources that enable students to get out skiing and snowboarding in the backcountry.

  • Badminton Club

    The Whitman Badminton Club provides the opportunity for people to practice and play badminton. People of all skill levels are invited.

  • Baking Club

  • Campus Gaming

  • Climbing Club

    Climbing Club's goal is to promote and foster the Whitman climbing community. The club provides funding for trips to local crags throughout the year, and help fund larger trips (Red Rocks, NV, City of Rocks).

  • Club Tennis

    Interested in improving your tennis game? Join Whitman's Club Tennis!

  • Cycling

    Whitman Cycling prides itself on being a self-run, all-inclusive and involved team. The team embraces all backgrounds of cycling from novice to professional, as long as you're excited to race and do your part to help run and be involved with the team.

  • Dance Team

  • Drama Club

    Drama Club helps with the production of student theatre, supports the season shows through ushering and concessions and plans a yearly Drama Rush, College Cabin, trip to Ashland, and Drama Banquet.

  • Fencing Club

    Whitman Fencing teaches Italian classical fencing and many other Western fighting styles to Whitman students.

  • Folk Dance Club

    The Folk Dance Club is a weekly gathering where we teach one another different folk dances from around the world.

  • Hiking Club

  • Intramural Sports

    Whitman College has several intramural sports; ranging from football to putt putt golf.

  • Juggling Club

    Juggling Club juggles and has a good time hanging out. Goofiness is required.

  • Knit Whit

    Knit Whit is Whitman's very own knitting club, aimed at fostering love and knowledge yarn crafts. All skill levels are welcome.

  • Magic: The Gathering at Whitman

  • Nordic Ski Team

    Whitman's competitive Nordic Ski Team travels around the northwest competing in both citizen races and collegiate races.

  • Outdoor Program

    The Outdoor Program fosters personal growth, facilitates learning and creates recreational opportunities through leadership development, skills training and safe, environmentally sound trips in a supportive community.

  • Peer Listeners

    Whitman Peer Listeners is a student run organization through the Whitman College Counseling Center whose mission is to foster emotional well-being on campus through programming and peer-to-peer interaction.

  • Rugby (Men's)

    Rugby (Men's) is best known for ruggin' hard and having a great time.

  • Running Club

    The running club is designed to bring all types of runners on the Whitman campus together.

  • Rugby (Women's)

    Women's Rugby is a group of fantastic women who practice Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 4pm on Harper Joy Field next to the Science parking lot. Games are Saturdays on Ankeny Field, and are played in Fall and Spring.

  • Salsa @ Whitman

    The Whitman Salsa Club is a place for Whitman students to learn and enjoy salsa dancing! It offers free five-week class series throughout each semester in Salsa, Bacahata, Kizomba and more.

  • Social Dance Club

    Social Dance Club gathers weekly to learn new skills, meet new people and have fun dancing Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, Argentine Tango and others, and hosts campus-wide dances like Fall Ball, Winter Ball and Spring Swing.

  • Taekwondo

    Whitman Taekwondo provides a safe and fun environment in which to learn Taekwondo for fitness and self defense.

  • Trap Shooting Club

    Trap club demonstrates that guns, safety, and friends make an excellent combination. All skill level are welcome to participate in our events that are held at the Walla Walla Gun Club.

  • Ultimate Frisbee

    Ultimate is a fun, yet competitive, non-contact sport which revolves around "the spirit of the game" (respect for all players). We encourage both men and women of all skill levels to come play with us.

  • Volleyball (Men's)

    Men's Volleyball is a competitive indoor club. The club practices two to three times a week during the fall and competes at several volleyball tournaments in Washington and Oregon during the spring.

  • Volleyball (Women's)

    Women's Club Volleyball is a secondary club sport at Whitman. The club travels to tournaments an average of three times a year in addition to outdoor tournaments at Whitman.

  • Water Polo

    Whitman's co-ed water polo meets three times a week to scrimmage, practice our skills and spend time with good company. The team travels to and host tournaments in the Pacific Northwest.

  • Whitewater Club

    The Whitewater Club provides opportunities for the Whitman community to connect to the sports of whitewater kayaking, canoeing, and rafting, and teaches the skills and training necessary to participate in these activities in a safe and productive way.

  • Whitman College Collegiate Starleague Team

    Whitman College Collegiate Starleague Team is a group of Whitties committed to becoming better Starcraft players. The team plays as part of the Collegiate Starcraft League, competing with other schools for supremacy on the virtual battlefield.

  • Whitman Slam Poetry Club

    Slam Poetry Club meets weekly to improve writing and competition skills, performs on campus and in the community.
