Greek Organizations

The Greek system has a special place in the Whitman community. 

For more information on these organizations, check out the following organizations:

  • Greekend Planning Committee

    The Greekend Committee is composed of the Panhellenic Council and the Intrafraternity Council. It's responsible for planning Greekend, an event put on every April by the Greek system for the entire campus.

  • Panhellenic Council

    Panhellenic is the all female Greek governing and programming group. Elected members from all the chapters work together on various projects including Fall Recruitment.

  • Interfraternity Council (IFC)

    The Interfraternity Council (IFC) regulates Rush and the fraternities, and promotes the Greek system in the best interest of Whitman College.

  • Whitman Fraternities

    Whitman has four national fraternity chapters. Each organization offers a well-rounded program that includes academic assistance, philanthropic events, social functions, leadership opportunities, friendships, personal growth and development, networking opportunities and life-long membership as alumni.

  • Whitman Sororities

    Whitman has four national sorority chapters, each of which provides its members with a well-rounded program that includes academic assistance, philanthropic events, social functions, leadership opportunities, friendships, personal growth and development, networking opportunities and life-long membership as alumni.
