Opening Week 2018
Schedule of Activities for Returning Students
Aug. 24-27, 2018

Returning Students,

Welcome back to campus! We are very excited for your return and for the start of the fall semester. There are a number of exciting things in store for this year, and we’re glad you’re here to share them with us.

Orientation is about new and returning students coming together to meet and mingle, and we invite you to join us in welcoming the new first-year and transfer students to Whitman! This schedule lists many opportunities for you to meet the new students at upcoming orientation programs, and you are most welcome to attend all events listed in the returning students orientation program. So, if you love Christa Keim Schmeder’s motivational lecture, feel free to attend on Friday night at 7:45 p.m. If you want to win a raffle prize, come visit us at Night@Reid. If you want to check out the new video dance party, join us at Sunday night event.

Please know that you are welcome at all these events. As much as we want to meet new students and help them in their transition to Whitman, we also want to see you, hear about your summer adventures and welcome you home!

See you around!

Barbara Maxwell and Funmi Oyekunle
