Transfer Credit Approval
- Incoming students must submit an official transcript of all work previously completed. The Registrar's Office also requires a Transfer Credit Eligibility form
- Returning students who wish to transfer credit to Whitman should submit a Request for Approval of Transfer Credit form prior to enrolling in courses to ensure transfer credit will be awarded. The Transfer Credit form must be submitted before transfer credit can be posted to their Whitman record. It requires the signature of the student's adviser. The student must also have an official transcript, from the institution where the transfer work was completed, sent directly to the Whitman College Registrar's Office.
Students who are not on campus may submit a Request for Approval of Transfer Credit without their adviser's signature and have their adviser email their approval to Pam Fowler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
