Middlebury: Universidad de Cordoba
Through Middlebury College, Whitman students may enroll at the Universidad de Córdoba in southern Spain. As the third oldest existing university in the Andalucia region, it boasts a student population of over 18,000 students. Those students are enrolled in the university's 39 degree programs. Students studying on this program also will have the opportunity to enjoy many cultural activities in this city of 300,000 people.
“After nine months, I am now almost completely fluent in Spanish, a goal I’m very proud to have met...The Middlebury program encourages independence in all aspects of life, academic and otherwise, and that was a welcome challenge. I learned a lot in all of my classes and in day-to-day life. Overall it was mind-opening, and I grew a lot as a person.” - Fanny D. ‘12
