BADA: London Theatre Program
The BADA: London Theatre Program through the Sarah Lawrence College allows Whitman students to live in London while studying theater with leading actors and directors from the British theater. The Program combines classes, one-on-one tutorials, master classes, and excursions to maximize students’ learning. Students will view performances by some of Britain’s most well-known acting companies, such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre. Fall semester students who wish to attend the BADA: London Theatre Program for the full year may extend their studies by attending the Advanced London Theatre Program in the spring semester.
“I would 100% recommend this program! It was a great balance - I got a great education, lots of practice doing what I love, and was able to see lots of London, and other destinations in Europe. The quantity of affordable theatre in London was also a major plus. I saw about 30 plays in my semester which is just awesome.” - Emily H. '17
