Middlebury: Madrid Sede Prim
Through Middlebury College, Whitman students may enroll at their School in Spain located in the thriving metropolis of Madrid. The school, exclusively for U.S. study abroad students, accommodates about 40 students each semester and offers a rigorous academic program taught in Spanish by Spanish scholars. Courses are available in Spanish language, literature, theater, art history, religion, and politics.
“By far the best program to get better at Spanish. Other programs have ‘language pledges’ so that you only speak Spanish all the time, but this program is for real. It is incredible how much you learn. The whole staff and professors are wonderful. Great city, too! You learn a lot in the classroom, but even more outside of it.” - Eric C. ‘17
