Jan Salisbury ’72 writes: “I am enclosing a picture of myself and Jesica Mitchell ’97, who is a graduate of Whitman 25 years after me. It was a fluke that we ended up on the same USTA (U.S. Tennis Association) 3.5-level women’s tennis team and were partners the entire season. We did not discover our commonality until about the third time we played together. Our team went to the Idaho District Championship, where we came in third in the state, out of about 50 teams total. You never know when you will run into a Whittie!”
