Kevin Pogue featured in Wines & Vines Magazine
Kevin Pogue, professor of geology, is featured in the June edition of Wines & Vines Magazine, in a cover story titled “Topography and Temperature.” The article highlights Pogue’s research on the terroir of the Columbia Basin and possible links between topography and the accumulation of growing degree days, an indicator growers use to predict the key stages of crop development. His research could lead to more knowledgeable site selection and better vineyard management.
