WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Whitman College hosts a pair of volleyball matches this weekend, starting Friday night when Lewis & Clark rolls into town.
Friday's action starts at 7 p.m. in Sherwood Center.
George Fox provides the opposition for Saturday's match, which starts at 5 p.m.

Senior captain Alex Graves and first-year middle blocker Courtney Brewer continue to power the Whitman offense.
Graves, an outside hitter, is averaging 3.42 kills per game on the season, which ranks her third in the Northwest Conference.
In conference games only, however, Graves is pounding 3.92 kills per game, the second-best mark in the NWC.
Brewer is averaging 2.4 kills per game with a team-leading .274 hitting percentage, which ranks her fourth in the NWC in that statistical category. Brewer is hitting .285 in conference-only matches.
As a team, Whitman is averaging an NWC-best 1.97 service aces per game, and four Missionaries rank in the top 10 individually. Miller has 25 aces on the season while Graves has 24, Brewer 21 and Kelsie Butts 18. In aces per game, Miller is second in the NWC. Graves is third, Butts fourth and Brewer eighth.
In her first full season as a setter, Katie Richards is averaging 8.87 assists per game, which ranks her fourth in the NWC. In conference matches only, Richards is handing out 9.74 assists per game, the third-best average in the NWC.
Graves also leads the Missionaries in digs, averaging 4.15 per game, which makes her No. 4 in the NWC in that statistical category. Butts is No. 8 with 3.57 digs per game.
Brewer, along with two of her first-year teammates, Olivia Nielson and Carrie Cecil, lead Whitman in blocks. Nielson has a total of 35 blocks this season, two more than Brewer. Cecil is next in line with 28.
In matches earlier this season, Whitman dropped a 3-0 decision to George Fox and lost 3-1 to Lewis & Clark.
Lewis & Clark, 10-9 on the season, is in fourth place in the NWC with a 6-4 conference mark.
George Fox, which plays Whitworth Friday night in Spokane, begins the weekend in second place with a 7-3 records (14-4 overall).
