"The team looks great," Blomme says. "We have lots of new talent as well as a bunch of returning swimmers who start the season mentally and physically strong. We're excited about getting an early start to the season."

Whitman's annual Alumni Swim Meet is set for next Saturday, Oct. 24.

The Missionaries plunge into their Northwest Conference dual meet season when they host Linfield and Pacific on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7.
