WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Basketball fans can get an early look at the Whitman College men's team when the Missionaries play host to the Northwest Elite All-Stars in an exhibition game at 8 p.m. Saturday in Sherwood Center.

The all-star squad is a collection of former college players from around the Northwest. The roster includes one of Whitman's own in Kyle Dalvit, a 6-foot-11 center who played his last two college seasons for the Missionaries earlier this decade.

Fans not able to visit Sherwood Center to watch the game in person can follow the action on the internet via a live video stream. Please click here as the game's start time approaches.

Whitman, under second-year coach Eric Bridgeland, returns seniors Jordan Wheeler and Jordan Brandon this season, along with junior Max Adcox and sophomores Brandon Shaw, David Michaels, J.P. Alvarez and Nate Stone.

Shaw and Wheeler were Whitman's second- and third-leading scorers last season, when they averaged 16.6 and 12.4 points per game.

Bridgeland bolstered the roster with a talented recruiting class of five freshmen and two community college transfers.
