The game starts at 4 p.m. on George Ball Court.

Others expected to play for the alumni are Aaron Hazel '07, Greg Ricker '06, Nick Parker '05, Mike Peterson '05 and Garth Brandal '08.

Faidley, who led the Northwest Conference in scoring in each of his past two seasons, finished second on Whitman's all-time scoring list with 1,720 career points.

As a senior, Born enjoyed one of the finest seasons in recent Whitman history. He led the NWC in scoring, rebounding and double-doubles. He erupted for 53 points -- matching the single-season NWC scoring record set by Elgin Baylor -- and 16 rebounds against Redlands, and he had 27 points and 23 rebounds in a game against Pacific Lutheran.

Born also earned Academic All-American honors.

The alumni will have its hands full a Whitman varsity squad that is off to a 4-2 start. With five players averaging in double digits in points, the Missionaries are scoring nearly 90 points a game, which tops the NWC. Whitman also leads the conference in steals, turnover margin and offensive rebounds.
