With weather conditions moderating on Sunday, Whitman's Sydney Saito lowered her second round score by eight strokes as the Northwest Conference Women's Fall Golf Classic concluded at the Wildhorse Resort Golf Course in Mission, Ore.

Saito, in her first year at Whitman, shot 86 Sunday to finish with a 36-hole score of 180. She was the only Whitman player entered in the tournament.

Pacific won the team scoring with a 36-hole total of 665 for its top four golfers in each round. Whitworth was a close second at 676. Other team scores were George Fox 702, Linfield 712, Puget Sound 720, Pacific Lutheran 737, and Willamette 848.

Lewis & Clark also had just one player in the tournament, Diana Freeburg, who shot 208.

Linfield's Brynn Hurdus shot 77 on Sunday to take top individual honors with a 36-hole score of 159. Pacific's Kelly Hartley was second at 163.
