IMS Event Support Request

IMS requests five (5) working days notice for event support for events Monday through Friday (8am-5pm). Event support is $20.00/hr. For event support outside of normal business hours (after 5pm weekdays and on weekends) IMS requires 7 business days notice. Weekend support may require you to pay staff overtime rates. We will not charge for simple set-ups if we do not need to stay during the event. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a simple set-up.

Request Tips

To ensure a successful event, please consider the following suggestions:

  • Include everything you need at one time. Additional requests later on cannot necessarily be met.
  • Describe the nature of the event thoroughly.
  • If you are bringing someone to Whitman, communicate with that person to find out what he/she will need as well as what he/she will bring.
  • If you will be using a computer, please tell us what kind (Mac vs. PC).

*Standard setup time is half an hour before the start of an event. If you wish, you may request more setup time. IMS will not decrease the amount of setup time, but it may be necessary to increase it. This field is not requred.
