Gifts to the Parents Fund help make possible the outstanding educational opportunities that are part of your student's Whitman experience. The fundraising efforts for the Parents Fund is focused on supporting internships and the vital work of the Student Engagement Center (SEC). From personal career advising to small-group workshops, the SEC staff helps students develop skills that will better prepare them for life after graduation.

Today, there is increased student interest in and demand for experience in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. In response, the SEC is growing thoughtfully and strategically. Last year, 124 students received internship funding from the SEC that enabled them to apply their critical thinking skills across the country and around the world. Gifts directed to the Parents Fund Student Engagement Center Initiative will help Whitman sustaining these vital programs going forward.
